Midnight Rainstorm Poem by babylon patrol

Midnight Rainstorm

My hut on the hill:
It rattles & shakes,
the rain drums on the roof
as if for heaven's sakes.

The storm blows outside,
the wind & the rain,
nothing can stop them
like a man gone insane.

But inside it's dry
and I am inside
and outside there's darkness
but inside there's a light.

Once it's all over
the moon sends some light
some clouds rushing past it
through the now silent night.
