Mighty Grain

Rating: 4.3
Mighty Grain

Buried in grave
Not with tears and grief
But with pleasure and care
New life in dark
Hope of farmer, Theft of sparrow
Grocer’s Occupation, Planning of house wife
Delicacy of Chef, Fuel of Mankind
By thou Grace.

I love the details and narration about the food that reached us as final product. We consume and enjoy those meal but do we always say thank you to The Most Gracious God for what we have? The food is our basic need to survive and so do with the agriculture. The poet managed to put the priority of the sector to the next level. Well done.

Simple words concentrate in a grain foray through all processes till gets to mankind. To get to us, to fight in the 'dark', to be 'hope of farmer' this grain must be 'mighty', to grow with 'pleasure' and 'care'.I like it.Thanks for sharing..Cristina Teodor
