Millions tears shed; and nothing accomplished,
For your love falling on needles and thorns
The invisible fire your body flamed
Now left me to winter's plights, ripp'd and torn
The great wall that shielded my heart; broken
By the tempestuous breeze your gown shook off
My pains and up-hills breath reached unspoken
As hope limped, and faith utterly winged off.
O dearest, your beauty—is—so, uncommon
That even old veins gain blood for pleasures
Broken; though, with loving heart I'll pass on
So, my soul shall love thee without measures
Beyond this life and next we two shall gain
As immortals loving deep without pain.
