Mind Hack Poem by Hell 'Farya

Mind Hack

A man set sail across the open water
His ship, his oars, his course
Compassion was all over him
He treated all aboard with love
But occasionally, he'd hear a whisper
'Set it ablaze, see what happens'
So he cried for help
'A demon, there is a demon within me! '

He walked his sister down the aisle
She was happy, he was contented
Smile beamed all over him
He believed no feat was too small
There and then, he felt the urge
'To take his own sister for himself'
Distraught, he cried aloud
'No, demon - there is a demon within me! '

He stood by the mirror, watching himself
He is himself, diligent and careful
What more could a man ask for?
He took pride in the reward of his effort
Then, from behind, a hand tapped him
'Why are eyes special, take one out and see..'
No! He rebuked aloud
'Begone demon! You shall have no room here'

But the demon did not forsake him
Day after day, night after night....
