Mira Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Mira

Mira

Mira, the Lord Krishna lover, saintly figure from Rajasthan*
Only not holding violin in hand
Lord Krishna always remained her god
Prayed and sung on his name

"No one else" I have only Krishna
The flute holder
With love charm on his face
She always rushed and chased

The name so much famous
And known as pious lady saint
Her name is famous throughout India
For devoted songs

Yes, this sari and color represent Mira
Her only God
She was devoted singer
Who sung many songs as god's lover?

Rahasthan.. border state in India

Mira
