I once heard this story: A traveling missionary gave an African chief a mirror as a gift, the chief looked in it and asked what was the ugly demon face in the mirror. The missionary told him the mirror reflected his face. The chief got angry and smashed the mirror and refused to believe that it was him..... Good poem!
