Mirrors Poem by james watkin

Mirrors

Rating: 5.0

Go on, brush-handler, and throw back
What of your art, bright and bold
Spoils her for commendable images
Perfect-preened; posed, fold on fold;
Still Mirror's 'true to life' aesthetic'
More esteemed for its frankness.
Glass-canvassed, runny with change!
The sitter's warped fears possess!
