Mischievious Poem by arundhati sinha

Mischievious

Rating: 3.1

One moment i steal.
One moment of my own,
I own.
Oblivious to onlooking eyes
Deaf to drifting sounds
Floating away to the land
Where red is the blush
On a maiden's cheek
And green is the proclamation
Of lush fertility
Black is but a transition
To refresh satiety
Brought by dazzling light.

One unsettling movement
Makes me feel the wood
I sit on.
The white walls seem to close in
No more!
Very conscious of people around
A mirthful inquisitiveness
'Do they know? '
