Miserable Poem by Can I Live?

Miserable

I wonder where you are
What you’re doing
How far away are you?
Could I come over?
My life surrounds you
And all that we could be
All that you helped me see
I can’t
[lose you]
I can’t
[breathe]
I can’t
[fight this war without you]
I can’t
[stand you]

Cut my life into pieces
Love them like the truth
Keep them in your heart
I’ll fight until you give me proof that you hate me

I plead the command and you leave me standing
I fall to my knees at your feet and you leave me kneeling
I beg you not to leave me and you leave out of spite
I ask you “please don’t hurt me” and you rip out my heart
You take it with you
“keep it with you”
I watch you throw it on the ground

(the lightning fades away as the scarlet runs down that drain)
(your drain)
(you’re killing me)

(how can I forgive you?)
