Can I Live?

[perfection] - Poem by Can I Live?

If my world were perfect
And we were all blind
And my love had fallen
Into this state of mind

Then life would be pointless
And heartless and cruel
And saying you care now
Makes me fight even harder

My life is shot now
Perfection far away
And happy it makes me
To not know what to say

My heart is worn through now
It's getting too thin
If you're not careful,
I'll never love again

A wonderful poem. But did you mean, 'My life is short now' by mentioning 'My life is shot now'? Thanks for sharing. A 10 from me. (Report) Reply
