I hate the cold
And I detest a slippery road,
And I hate it when a brisk wind does blow.
I hate the weather when it's freezing
And the constant sneezing,
And the icicles that always grow.
I hate to slip and slide
When on a frozen sidewalk I ride,
Especially when it's 39 below.
I hate to shake and shiver
I hate it when I start to quiver
That fact my family and friends undoubtedly know.
I hate it when my toes are numb
And also my fingers and thumb,
It brings we hurt and constant woe.
I hate it when it's wintertime
I hate having freezing steps to climb,
And I hate when in ice and cold I got to go.
I don't miss that cold, cold season
I don't miss the freezing for any reason,
But, I do miss the snow.
