Miss You Poem by Daniel van der Merwe

Every day this feeling inside me only grows stronger,
And I don’t know if I can take this any longer.
Missing you is the worst feeling ever,
And it wasn’t like I asked for this, never!

What I know is - this is meant to be,
But it does not change this feeling inside of me…
I know I have to forget and move on,
But this all feels too long.

Death only plays with my mind,
And all I want is for time to rewind.
I would maybe have find it easier to move on,
If only I had one more chance before you were gone.

For this maybe seem like one more day,
But I miss you and that I’m proud to say.
I just wish I could understand what it’s all about,
I guess I have to continue ‘till someone hears me out.
