Missed Connection
I felt you grow inside of me
But never thought you'd come to be
Out there, far away across the sea
Wishes, hopes inside my mind
Words left unspoken, hard to find
My feelings went unsaid
Now, realizing that time passed
Regret of words unsaid at last
I hoped there was more time to be intertwined
Alas, it's too late now, to feelings we are blind.
Fate, it seems, had other plans in mind
