The Residue, The Indelible
Memory will abide, it lingers on;
An altered awareness endures,
Persisting in ways we cannot resist.
A sticky residue remains, yet abased;
Desires grasping, reaching out,
Like an anchor beneath the surface
- hidden in the deep.
