Missed Opportunity? Poem by Ray Hansell

Missed Opportunity?

You're eyeing up the lady
Next to you who's dressed in lace
You try to play it straight
By wearing a poker face

You know that you want her
But you wonder does she want you
You're afraid to make a move
Unsure just what to do

Another chance has been missed
Again tonight you'll end up alone
It's time again to take that drive
And head back to your empty home

Another opportunity
But once again you failed
Maybe it's time to just accept
That your ship has already sailed

Maybe you are destined
To just live in solitude
By yourself all alone
Maybe that's what you should conclude
