writing down my pain
trying to refrain
from my mind going insane
hold on to something strong,
don't let go, you can't go wrong
i will hold your hand
keep you close,
make you a man,
just don't let go
gosh, i wish you were here,
I would be ok,
I would feel no fear

I saw you for the first time,
in a long time
but you wouldn't even look at me
you wouldn't even turn around
and so i sank,
deep into the ground

hold me closer
if only you could see
how much i miss you
how much i need you
i crave your company
remember how it used to be?
the world would simply melt away
and i could fall into
the comfort of you arms
never knowing someone so dear

you have absolutely
no idea
how much i miss you
how much i long to talk to you
do you have any idea? none at all
and so i fall
deeper and deeper
and yet i'm the heartbreaker
just spreading the pain
no way to refrain
sew up my heart
its already fallen apart

sick to my stomach
feeling so ill
help me, heal me
don't just hand me a pill
i'm sorry i wasn't good enough
i'm sorry i wasn't what you wanted
don't hurt me more
then i've already been hurt before
sometimes i feel
like i don't even care
that its not even worth it
don't push me away
please PLEASE ask me to stay
maybe one day
you will want me again
maybe one day
my poor heart will mend
