Missing Passions From Yesterday - Poem by Lance Carthen
Through grace and solitude.
Im missing what I had with you.
The tears dont seem to stop their flow.
Inside my heart sadness grows.
If I could take everything back I would.
I would have never done the things I did.
Maybe life now is a redemption.
Conflicts from a past life's soul direction.
Only dark in the shadows can I see.
Vanishing love with no trace inside me.
Feel so alone, where could love be?
Is it just a dream or reality?
Lost inside myself I cannot breathe.
Please God take this pain away from me.
I wanna take it all back.
No more lies.
Take it all back.
So sorry I made you cry.
If I could take everything back I would.
I would have never done the things I did.
Maybe life now is a redemption.
Conflicts from a past life's soul direction.
Just want you to know I miss you.
Still got you on mind when I kiss her.
I had to tell you Im so sorry.
My love card dealt in life was sinister.
To follow...to follow...tommorow no way.
Goodbye all that was beautiful.....
