Missing Them Poem by Etienne Charilaou

Missing Them

Shall we meet again?
Will it be in heaven
or an analogous realm?
Bodies banished, souls laid bare.

How does music
past its end
play its best melody
beyond compare?

When ears and eyes
no longer apply,
who others will descry?

Self and other -
these thoughts here are born.
Separation is an illusion -
where is the need to meet again?
