Missing You Poem by Wright Palafox

Missing You

I sit by that window pane,
Gazing upon the star-lit sky…
As my heart begins to drift,
I see YOU and I…

I sought to regain those feelings
Of euphoria, thrill and delight!
Then I begin to marvel,
Why this felt so right…

Deep inside, I truly feel
This solitude I loathe…
That forlorn void felt all so real,
The expanse that divides us both…

How far, how long would it be?
Oh, I long to see you once more!
A chance to witness such elegance,
That chance, I’ll take it for!

Whenever I’m at whispering distance
to you, I feel elated!
A priceless sensation, as well as this notion:
YOU and I…we’re fated…

To hold you—warmly—in my arms
Is a wish fulfilled to me (who knew?)
For my irresponsibility, I’m sorry!
I just can’t stop missing you…

(I can't wait for October to end..)
