Missing You (The Ring) - Poem by Lorena Walker

the ring reminds me
of the pain you can not see
but we both feel
we wish it all gone
but this love is just too real

so please forgive me
I do not mean to cry
for it hurts more
when i hear the tears
form in your eyes

... simply put, but with enough unveiled honesty to make me feel your mutual pain.
The words penned are enduring; I pray your parting to be ever so much less. Effective, and a good poem.
