Mixed Feelings
So this is
Hello
Goodbye
It's safe to say
I forgot you
I missed you
So you've heard
I've moved on
I'm still in love with you
And you know
He's everything you're not
He's nothing I want
You've moved on too
I'm happy for you
I wish you'd leave her
You say you're in love
I hope it works out
You said that to me too
I'm in love too
He's the best thing for me
My heart belongs to you
So we're both happy now
I'm glad we've moved on
Are you still in love with me too?
The very torment of mixed emotions sending the never ending riddles to our hearts....questions asked, but 're they ever truly answered? You have crafted a fine honest write....and still those pesky mixed emotions swirl. Well done. PEACE

Susan's comment sums up this piece perfectly! Love can leave our minds in perpetual swirls and dips. How often we try to tell ourselves that we're happy while inside we are still crying out for what once was. Beautifully honest words you've penned!
