Mockery Poem by Edwina Reizer

Mockery

They try to make a mockery
of love that doesn't last.
And ladies talk and prattle on
and wag their tongues so fast.
The gossips never ask the why?
They laugh and try their best
to never be the one they mock,
whose love will fly the nest.
