Modern Folk Poetry- Question Answer Poem by Renu Kakkar

When we both are together singing,
Then there is synchronized singing.

(Wife) I kept the rice pudding to cook,
Your call came and it got burnt.

(Husband) You should've removed the pudding
and then answered the call,
Stop watching reels on mobile while cooking.

(Wife) You are going to the market,
so for us both perfumes you get.

(Husband) Your makeup takes lots of hours
forget perfumes, my pockets is empty now.

(Wife) Bebe (mother-in-law) says I don't make round rotis,
I told her that from Zomato I will order rotis.

(Wife) Bebe says take me shopping today,
I told her to take out money from almirah today.

(Husband) The dog of your parents sits in the car,
our dog sees burnt rotis and desires properly cooked ones.

(Husband) You mother got her phone charged from me,
but our house news is uploaded on her website.

(Wife) Why are you blame my mother?
if I say something you will make get annoyed.

(Husband) Why do we fight between us?
(Wife) People listen and laugh at us.
(Together-Happily) Lets not fight or instigate,
We know that without each other we cannot survive.

दोनों टप्पे ते टप्पा मिलदा नी (2)
लोको वेखो साडा, किवें दिल मिलदा नी I

Wife (Question) :
चूल्हे उत्ते रखी सी खीर वे (2) आ गया तेरा कॉल, ते सड़ गई खीर वे।
Husband (Answer) :
खीर पासे रख के कॉल चक्कणी सी (2)
चूल्हे अग्गे रील वेखणों बाज़ आओ तुसी।

Wife (Question) :
तुसी ता बाज़ार जा रहे ओ? (2)
साडे दोनां लई परफ्यूम लै आओ?

Husband (Answer) :
तुहाडे मेकअप नूँ लगदे घंटे सी (2)
छड्ड परफ्यूम, तुसी खाली कर दित्ती पॉकेट मेरी।

Wife (Question) :
बेबे बोली, तू रोटी गोल बणांदी नी (2)
मैं बोल्या, रोटी ज़ोमैटो तों मंगवां देनदी।

Wife (Continuation) :
सस्स बोली, मैनूं शॉपिंग करा दे अज (2)
मैं बोली, पहले अलमारी चों पैसे कड्ड दे अज।

Husband (Answer) :
तेरे पेकियाँ दा कुत्ता गड्डी विच बैठदा (2)
साडा कुत्ता सड़ी रोटियाँ वेख के तरसदा।

Husband(Question) :
तेरी माँ दा फोन रिचार्ज किता सी (2)
साडे घर दीआं खबरां ओदी बसाइट ते अपलोडेड सी।

Wife (Answering)
मेरी माँ नूं क्यों करदे बदनाम तुसी (2)
जे सच बोलां तां मुँह फुलाओगे तुसी।

Husband असीं क्यों आपसच लड़दे हन? (2)
Wife लोग साडियां गल्लां सुणके हँसदे हन।

Together(Happily)
चल छड्ड क्यों लड़ना ते लड़वाना वे (2)
इक दूजे बिन कोई नहीं गुज़ारा वे।
