Modern Prometheans Poem by Matt Greenblatt

Modern Prometheans

I could never be a Titan
Because I don't know
Where to stop, ever, even
In my slow and diligent way
When Prometheus stole
Our fire from the gods
He was wise enough to leave
The terror of lightning for heaven
