Mom Poem by Manager Poet

This is one poem that I must confess has been long
overdue.
And I hope my words can express my feelings about you.
You've been such a good mother and friend.
Why we've never had any real issues that had to mend.
The work you've done on me is almost complete.
It has been a pleasure sitting at your feet.
Many have leaned and still depend on you each day.
But you know, I don't think you would have it any other way.
Life has been tough on me at times.
But your love for me, has calmed me like musical chimes.
Indeed you have been an incredible grandmother to my children.
A real grandmother who never left their hearts barren.
We've gone through much in recent years.
You've made me strong through all the tears.
As I think about our family and all its past,
you given me skills that are built to last.
However, of all the gifts you have given to me,
it is your love that I treasure most you see.
One more line and then I'm done.
I love you mom and I am proud to be your son.
