Character Poem by Manager Poet

Character

Who hasn’t been called one?
Fact is, life can and should be fun.
However, real character does count.
Let’s liken it to a savings account.

Deposits to character add up over a lifetime.
Keep reading for there’s still more rhyme.
Telling two lies doesn’t make you a liar.
Doing right is what your heart must desire.

It is true withdrawals can be made.
If that does occur, don’t be afraid.
You know who and what you are.
Don’t let others dim your star.

I go through this life now alone.
Refined by fire, I’ve since grown.
One more line and then I’ll be through.
What does having character mean to you?

it means being a person who is remembered for all things that are positive. For being trustworthy, good hearted and yet still comical. This poem is so truthful and informing!
