There's no past right now, at this moment;
there's only the present.
No thought of the past or a dream of the future
can change what is here now.

Moments are snapshots of your life;
Each one deserves your full attention.
Take one day at a time, moment by moment;
live life to the fullest.

Always put in concerted effort:
'Pray as if everything depends on God;
Work as if everything depends on you; '
Rest as if there's no care in the world.

To the day, give him his due;
waste not his labor.
To the night, give her her benevolence;
waste not her slumber.

Sleep while the day sleeps, as the night
in sweet slumber rests.
Let all your cares fade into the night
and leave no vestige of yesterday's troubles.
