Moments
Though not the best
or most dramatic
I capture
and remember here—
staring through
my hearth stove's window
seeing flame and coals
and thinking of Kabir
and feeling certain
in my future
God-warmed moments
will be there.
You are so optimistic about your future! By God's grace, you hope to have sunny days ahead! This is exactly the way we should perceive life! May your faith turn to be your anchor in life! A poem that disseminates positive vibes!
Valsa, I’m charmed by your use of “positive vibes.” Thank you for this comment. In the last few days I’ve been reminded in Proverbs of the importance of and health in a positive disposition. God is the unchangeable and is love, and no doubt our forebears dealt with things equal to or exceeding our challenges and distresses. Let us keep the faith. -Glen
