We sat in the park
under the blue sky,
the birds were singing in the trees above

The world was going on...
but nothing else mattered as I laid my head on your lap
and gazed into your eyes

We talked about this and we talked about that,
You telling me stories
that would make me laugh
Sometimes we just sat...

When you held me in your arms,
I could feel your heartbeat next to mine
just feeling your closeness
The tenderness of laying next to you
You holding me,
your hand gently resting on my side
These are the moments that I cherish,
The times that I hold in my heart
But as I sit here and reminisce on all the times we've shared
There's none that I would replace
I'll love you Forever,
Because everyday you bring a smile to my face.
