Moments Of Friendship And Love Poem by Sana Ashher

I do not know why I could not see
That they were all trying to interact with me
I was stopped here and there
To have a cup of comfort with them to share
These moments happened before I could think or act
I did not know how to react or what rules to enact
Which would hold me together…
When the events of my life changed like weather
I tried to understand why
My life without them was becoming so dry
Time sped before my eyes
Before I could act in any way that was wise
And with it went my first few moments of friendship and love
To this day I have been trying to rid myself of those memories
