Momma Never Told Me
They never told me of the painful but sweet feeling
tearful yet funny, mystery like yet so evident
They never told me i would cry with a smile, laugh with
a sore in my heart, feel joyfull but relinquished
They never told me i would stare but not see,
not forgive but forget; be blinded but oblivious of it
They never said i would see in darkness and trace my heart's path
I hold it not against them though, i wont tell either
for love is a disease of the soul.

The divine ordained function of the heart is to love. Certain things are better left to experience, one may never understand because of ones level of three dimensional comprehension at the time. I like the articulation and penning of the poem as it captured the conviction of the poet. Thanks for sharing and do keep it up. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
