Mommy And I.... - Poem by Daryl Elliott

Mommy and I are fighting
and I really don't know why
She wouldn't let me see you
or even say goodbye
But soon we'll be together
and I'll take you out to play
I hope your old enough to know
Everything will be ok
I'll always be your father
and give you what I can
You'll always be my girls
I hope you understand
That if you ever need me
just call me on the phone
I'll always be there for you
you'll always have a home.

Sad story of children caught in the middle. You
said it very well, keep writing.
