Mona Lisa Poem by Kenneth Maswabi

Mona Lisa

Rating: 4.8

Her soul stitched to her garment with a paintbrush
Arousing her heart to dream
Ready to shout with joy
Celebrating the life full of butterflies
Genuinely believing that she is alive
Born out of a brush and paint
Conceived in the bowels of a dreamer's mind

Her expressions staring out on an empty space
Reflecting and reminiscing about life
'Is life worth all the trouble? ' she asked
Mesmerized by the thought of breathing
the thought of love
