Rain's song begins with a prelude.
Lilting drizzle, softly gentle,
to set the pace, create the mood
making monsoons sentimental...
Clouds gather fast and congregate
Choristers in a concert hall
begin an aria low, sedate
as notes of rain drops start to fall...
Soon the rhythm picks up its beat
to loud and lively choral roar
pounding on the flooding street
splashing for one more encore!
Who will come and dance with me
to this monsoon melody!
