Moods - Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

What is it that affects a person’s mood?
What can you say or easily conclude?
Emotions force thoughts into cubicles...
Creating masses of magnetized particles

A downpour of negativity makes plans fail
Energy slowly drowns in an overflowing pail
Positive vibes encourage a hopeful attitude
It gives a lift to your step and increases fortitude

At times we realize what it is that makes us flow
Often we can re-emerge from the cold underto
The most important thing to remember is this fact...
You’ll resurface if you keep your confidence intact
