Moon Walk - Poem by Sarrah Ibrahim

Take a walk with me,
By side me,
Shine down on me,
Through that silver street,
Lead to where my heart longs to be,
For in you I find me,
Spelled in your knowing every bit of me,
Remind me of who is me,
You find in my imperfections beauty,
You see through me,
Ground me,
Sane you keep me,
Be all I can be,
My key,
You set me free,
From the gloomy me,

Need your need for me,
Love your ability to decipher me,
Always alive within me,
Will take the best of you with me,
Be it diving under seas,
Above highest clouds I be,
No matter how lost I may be,
By your example I lead,
Wherever life takes,
Stand tall & believe,
Whenever you call, I vow
Will always follow,
My battle, your sorrow
My shadow,
I always forget to forget you

Poet's Notes about The Poem
