Moonglow Poem by Edwina Reizer

Moonglow

When the moon casts her glow at night
whether it be quarter or full
I feel the attraction it has for me.
And so it is wonderful.

Do you see the moon the same as I?
Or do you just see stars in the sky?
It doesn't matter what you see
because I'll never know.

Your eyes are so far away from mine.
I can't even see them shine.
And so I must settle for moonglow,
moonlight soft and low.
