Moonlight Poem by Kenneth Maswabi

Moonlight

Rating: 5.0

In the darkest of hours
You came to my rescue
When everything seemed dark and blurry
You illuminated the path of my life
You made me feel secure
As I laid my heart on your palm
I felt my fears evaporate
And I held tight to your heart
Swallowed by your heartbeat
I lost all my insecurities and fears
I found the courage to speak
To tell you about my Love for you
To undress my nakedness
And submerge myself in you
I am so blessed
To have you in my life
Your shiny pearly eyes
Make me blush
It's amazing
How your smile
Captivates my heart
Like a lost and found lover
Finally I can hold the hands of my Love
In you I found my oasis
And my thirstiness is quenched
You are my wild berries
Blooming in the night
Like a shy beautiful girl
You gave me a glimpse of your Love
And disappeared in the clouds
Leaving me holding onto my confusion
For a moment
I thought you were gone
Then the magic happened
Out of nowhere
You kissed my lips
