More and more smoke, belched out ‘a vents
More and more, came up were weaponry factories
More and more worker hours, denying basics
Spent, making weapons, designed to take life
More and more hours spent in conferring
Arguing, counter arguing and agreeing on best
More and more bells are rung, flowers offered
In churches, temples and mosques for a course
More and more children women and aged
Die every day, while begging and praying
More and more coffins were made all over
To bury fighters, side by side with innocents
More and more parading in rival camps
Showing each ones might, over the other
More and more scarce resources wasted
Round the globe, leaving millions starved
More and more hospitals are commissioned
To treat wounded, in the battles and struggle
More and more people are agonized every day
Bombarding in ears 'peace, peace', for peace!
