More Than Money Poem by Bill Grace

More Than Money

Rating: 5.0

It is too simple to say
That greed had escaped its cage
Once there was a sense in the land
Of a thing called honor
You did not buy a house
You did not hope to keep
You did not make a loan
You knew could turn to stone.
The failure here is more than money.
