More Worth Than A Father - Poem by Buyi Newton Philip

Father, father? father!
How treasury is your
That it is sweater
And pleasing to the ear
Than any thing made
Out of sugar.

Your love and care
has taught me to
Love you more than
Any thing for it
Haunts me spending
A night with out
Putting you in the
Hands of the

One with a defined nature
Of life style
For your efforts have
Made me who am

who am i than not
Give thanks for
Your endless support
Comfort and care
Towards my survival
And moral up rightness.

How worth and delicate
Is that woman who
Brought you into this
World and how precious
Is your creator
For you have made me
Believe that there is
Hope left even when
It appears as though
The beautiful ones are
Not yet born.

The purity of your love
Towards me has given me
Courage to stand still
In this morally decayed
Era, where male butterflies
Go with male and so does the
Females do respectively.

You never know by the
Grace of God things may
Turn out to be different
That is in the near by

One who has always
Been there for me
From the very beginning
Until now
May the good Lord
Bless you abundantly

That your pockets may
Never go dry
For your generosity
Preaches hope to the
Poor and comfort
To us your son and

You have always Provided
An extra key to our
Doors the seem to be

For your mercy and
Darling heart the
The lord has always
And will continue
To shower you with
Lots of blessings
For you portray the
Nature and existence
Of GOD on earth.

I have and will always
Now and for ever treasure
You as more worthy than
A father.

For thy love is compared
To the setting of the
Sun out of the clouds
Only to warm your

Poet's Notes about The Poem

this is only an under statement for every thing the person i mention herein for His good and end less deeds in my life. you may have your own story to tell but we will both agree that the passion is the same. inspiration drawn from the finance he did set aside, care, support and love this noble man showed my father who was diagnosed with cancer all way through, his life, sickness, even in his death. (hope this makes my Daddy proud to say the words he was unable to mention, as his life was short lived by his sudden death; to this gentleman Mr. Sam Gamuzezi. W. Thank so very much.....)
