Music, birds, flowers-
All the bliss in the world!
Unblemished sky, sunshine reflecting on the chimneys I can see,
A part of Moon still visible at mid-sky.
The towering umbrella-like Willow, my darling-
So calm, so merciful,
The veggies in the corner, vibrant, radiant,
Yellow, green,
Attention-seekers, compete with each other!
Why is my yellow bird missing today?
Did she forget the path
Of the little sanctuary we have?
I hear her songs in my heart,
Her melodious trill brings me my long-lost past,
A haunting past,
The reminiscence of another garden,
the innocence, the closeness,
Which never got blanched,
The anticipation, the laughter, the unconditional love!
Sun is beaming,
Birds are chirping full-throated,
A little Robin perched lonely at the chimney-top,
Perhaps the best pleasure is from a distance, and a height,
what we pine for, sometimes.
A plane cuts through the unclouded sky,
To its destination far away,
My mornings should never end!
