Morten Bay Fig Poem by james watkin

Morten Bay Fig

Its a heavy leaf that falls
Where an entire cloistered ring
Is sheltered beneath!
For whom shun all glaring sights
It bears noon's relief.

For the blue expanse, here tis
Earth, as anchorage, jumped off.
Of no light bird's plume!
Other tree's skies, wind-altered
Here, their calm resume.
