The people promised to obey the law.
Moses sprinkled blood on the people

blood on the book sealed the people
sealed in contact with dedicating blood
thus was born a new Mosaic Covenant

the first covenant was dedicated blood

Moses spoke every precept
to all the people according to the law
Moses took blood of calves

goats, with water, scarlet wool, hyssop
sprinkled both the book and all the people
saying 'This is the blood of the covenant

which God has commanded you.' Hebrews 9: 18-22.

of ministry according to law

almost all things
holy are purified
in sacrificial blood

shedding of blood
there is remission
atonement in blood
