Mother Poem by elenore elizabeth

Mother

Rating: 4.0

do you hear her?
the voice within the wind?

do you feel her?
the water on your skin?

do you see her?
the world within you stand?

do you smell her?
the roses in the wind?

do you taste her?
the apple within your mouth?

do you hear her?
the birds in the trees?

do you feel her?
the rose pedals in your hand?

do you see her?
the rain clouds in the sky?

do you believe in her?
the mother of us all?

do you taste her?
the nector on your tounge?

do you hear her?
the gentle voice within your throat?

do you feel her?
the soft hair on your back?

do you see her?
through the eyes within your own head?

do you smell her?
with the nose from which you breathe?

do you taste her?
with the tounge in your mouth?

do you believe in her gift, her care?
the life within us all?

do you believe in the mother?
creater of us all?

I like this very much. It could be expanded with some further sensory imagery.
