Mother Poem by Dheeraj Arora

Mother

Rating: 3.5

Mom, I wish I had words to tell
How much you mean to me.
I am the person I am today,
Because you let me be.

Your unconditional love
Made me happy, strong and secure.
Your teachings and examples
Made me confident and mature.

In whole world, there is no mother
Better than my own.
You're the best and wisest person, Mom
I have ever known.

How did you find the energy, Mom
To do all the things you did,
To be a teacher, a nurse and a counselor
To me, when I was a kid

How do you do it at all, mom
Be a chauffeur, a cook and a friend,
Yet find time to be a playmate,
I just can't comprehend.

I see now it was love, Mom
That made you come whenever I'd call,
Your inexhaustible love, Mom
And I thank for It all..
