Mother And Daughter Revised Poem by Philip Bangura

Mother And Daughter Revised

Rating: 4.1

Daughter and Mother,

in busy Dufkut street,

stand idly by as cars...lawri... and akada passes

Each.. holding to the

other. The mother wearing

the lapa harkens

back to her roots,

the daughter wearing

the modern clothes with braided

long hair looks to the future.

Both holding each others

hand as the busy

passers by walks

through them.

You, mother

and daughter have

not been forgotten

in this busy streets.

I though long gone

have not seen your

faces in nearly two decades

My heart cares for you both.

It beats to the same rhythm as yours

As the bodies past

by you guys.. I notice

you. Each with a

weary face yet

with hope.Mother

and daughter holding hands,

in busy street passway in Dufkut,

just know that from far away your

Son and Brother holds you deep

in his heart.

Son and Brother holds you deep affection and emotion for mother and motherland. Mother and daughter hold hands and express tender affection. This poem is nicely written and this reflects patriotism and motherly perception...10
