Mother Nature Poem by joel gregory

Mother Nature

“Someday I’ll wake,
Fight evil with a rake.
Someday ill rise,
Avenge my forgotten cries.

I’ll stand from the earth,
I’ll fight the wind.
You’ll crumble to dirt,
You’ll pay for what you’ve sinned! ! ! ”

But there is still time,
Amend your ways humans,
know your crimes,
quit hiding in your dark dens.

SHOW YOURSELVES YOU FIGURES OF CLAY! ! !
You have to protect to stay,
I have moulded you but you are free.
You are all I have left to protect.
So protect me to protect thee.

My lions will roar,
I will send to you a charging boar.
You will get the blazing sun,
Over you my kin will run.
Winds will come raging,
You will then stop aging.
Your cries only pain,
You’ll have no’er to gain.
And when the deed is done,
We will laugh making fun.
