The Change Poem by joel gregory

The Change

Gloomy life,
Too much strife,
Burning tears,
Rising fears.

So much sadness,
Cloaks the badness.
Here begins the rain,
Bringing on the pain.
Each drop of water,
Makes my mind a clutter.
I cant handle all the sadness,
Its giving rise to my madness.

Gloomy life,
Too much strife.
Burning tears,
Rising fears.

The autumn dry,
Makes me cry.
Each dying leaf on the road,
Shows all the sobs to hoard.
The leaves are golden brown,
More cause for my frown.

Gloomy life,
So much strife.
Burning tears,
Rising fears.
Here comes hail,
So much more to wail.
Each small icy stone,
Freezes my blood to the bone.
Each crestfallen smile,
Takes my sorrow one more mile…

Gloomy life,
So much strife.
Burning tears,
Rising fears.
