Mother's Final Clause Poem by Aron Lelei

Mother's Final Clause

Rating: 5.0

I may not have heard her last words
But she mumbled a handful of clauses.
In her ultimate painful moments’ experience,
Her hugs and kisses were more than of an ordinary mother
She expressed her inward feeling freely
Without prejudice, her pulsating heart purred
She suffixed her last prayers with clauses
And finally made her excellent succumb
With several solitary and solemn clauses

In sorrow yet with perceived epitome epitaph
She mumbled her requisite preferred epitaph clause
“Sometimes for the greater good, sacrifices must be done”
What an exciting mothers’ clause to behold.
In her painful exit, she happily crawled to glory land
Leaving us buffled on our next move
But her last wishes from her closing cabinets
All pointed to one Calvary hill of sorrow,
Where she rested her last clause while on deathbed

Mother’s lifestyle and trails are vested in her clauses
Our differential perception of life will culminate thence
In mother’s clauses are trails of a righteous mother
And guidelines of ways of virtue and Godliness
Without uplifted mother’s clauses,
There is no life here or hereafter
Mother’s final clauses will ever entwine us with God
And assures us of our trails to mother’s abode
Far beyond her vested clauses’ abode.

As mother’s clauses define our eternity
We are nonetheless reminded of the old adage,
“ Mothers’ supplications are always answered”
Her clauses are thence standing before God
And our future defined and definitely assured.
Mother’s clauses are today remembered
And her Memorial Day a sure success to her last clauses.
As we seal her prayers all in unison without fear
But with our hearts, bodies and souls bowed.
“Mum, your last clauses are our all in all”.

A very touching poem to your mother's memory. She sounds like a wonderful mother to have had raising you, loving and caring for you. Beautiful memory, her passing has left you. Words to live by! Thank you for sharing these words of wisdom from your mother. RoseAnn

Splendid to feel love when one is still around but painful when gone.
